Hi! My name is Kim. Thanks for visiting my Interior Design website!   

I'm the Interior Designer behind Kimberly Elizabeth and I currently reside in Wesley Chapel, FL.

early years

My professional career in design started over a decade ago in NYC, but my passion for design was evident

long before.  As a child growing up in Queens, NY, I would obsess over Interiors in my dad's Architectural Digest Magazines.  I can’t even count how many times I changed the style of my childhood room, rearranged the furniture or had my dad build something I custom designed.  My love for all types of art started from the time I could color.

It was only natural that when it was time to select a college, I chose to attend The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in NYC, known for its exceptional Interior Design program.   I spent four years studying all aspects of design from art history, codes, and model building to spatial planning and color theory.  

In 2006, I earned a BFA in Interior Design from FIT.

I was most recently the Manager of Visual Design at Kravet, Inc.  Based out of NYC, Kravet, a home fashion brand, is one of the industry’s leading fabric and furnishing companies, offering high-end products to-the-trade.   My work as a Visual Merchandiser included designing showrooms across North America, catering to the inspiration and style of each city, and creating fresh and inviting spaces to sell product and inspire designers and their clients.

Symmetry and function are two key elements in all of my designs.  My primary goals with every design is to ensure that all the elements are balanced and to create a cohesive design. I thoughtfully select furnishings and finishes for each space, keeping in mind the client’s wants and needs.  Throughout my designs you will see neutral bases with soft punches of color.  I believe a beautiful blend of the primary elements specific to the space creates a timeless interior.

In 2020 I officially launched Kimberly Elizabeth Interiors LLC.  As owner and designer, I take pride in providing my clients with exceptional work.  I offer several design services that allow me to cater to an array of design needs.
